Garlic PIta Chips

1 bunch romaine lettuce

3 lg. red tomatoes

1 large red onion

2 cucumbers

4 radishes

2 loaves pita or Syrian flat bread

1 dash salt

1 dash black pepper

2 tsp. sumac mild spice

2 fresh lemons

3 tbsp. olive oil

- Chop all vegetable ingredients into small cubes or squares.

- Place them into a mixing salad bowl.

- Cut the pita bread into squares place them on a baking sheet tray.

- Bake until golden brown in 300°F oven.

- Set aside to cool.

- Add pita to the ingredient bowl.

- Squeeze lemon juice into bowl.

- Add salt and pepper to taste.

- Finally add sumac and olive oil; mix gently.

- Serve immediately.
